Before our end-of-month deadline at midnight tomorrow, I want you to know
exactly what this fight looks like right now.
Last week in a Senate hearing, I confronted RFK Jr. about comments he made
suggesting Black children should be “reparented.”
He said he “didn’t remember saying it”.
I told him I had the recording.
Because this is where we are. People in positions of power saying
dangerous, hateful things, and then pretending it never happened.

Each encounter I’ve had with Secretary Kennedy has been more disturbing
than the last. What I heard wasn’t just wrong; it was ignorant and deeply
offensive. And it’s part of a pattern we’ve seen from him over and over
again: blaming vulnerable groups for America’s problems, then refusing to
take responsibility.
He claimed that Black people shouldn’t get the same vaccines as our white
counterparts, despite there not being a shred of evidence to support this.
He blamed pregnant women who’ve taken Tylenol for causing autism in their
children, again without a crumb of scientific evidence.
I said from the very beginning that he was unqualified for this role.
Because this isn’t abstract. There are parents across
this country who should be able to trust the guidance coming from our top
public health officials. Instead, they’re getting misinformation and
deflection.
When it comes to the health of our kids and our communities, truth is the
difference between life and death.
As a parent myself, that matters more than any political concern ever
could.
Secretary Kennedy is harming our country and I’m in a position to fight
back. But I can’t win this battle alone. I’m facing an end-of-month
fundraising deadline tomorrow, and we’re still short of our April
