We have the same question for Donald Trump. He has been obsessed with ending DACA and deporting undocumented folks for more than four years. But now he’s running for reelection, and singing a different tune. He wants people to forget about everything he has done to us.
But we have the receipts … all of them.

Trump made a promise to end DACA during his first campaign, and he has spent four years dismantling DACA piece by piece. We’ve fought back every step of the way. Tomorrow is the 8th anniversary of the first DACA applications being submitted - but the program as we knew it is no more. Hundreds of thousands of potential DACA applicants have been locked out from protections. Even so, that’s not enough for Trump. He wants DACA recipients and all immigrants gone. Ew!
And Trump and his enablers will stop at nothing to get it. He is literally defying Supreme Court and Circuit Court orders on DACA as you read this email.
Trump hates immigrants. It is as simple as that. His words and his actions are all the proof we need that the only way to protect undocumented people, and all immigrants, is to get him out of office in November.
