Time for Congress to act...
State and local governments across the country are in trouble. Tax revenue is collapsing and now so too is their ability to pay for essential services and the salaries of frontline workers like police, firefighters, teachers and medical professionals. Many Americans are expecting Congress to pass a COVID-19 relief package that includes much needed aid for state and local governments. But now both chambers are in recess and a deal doesn’t appear close. They need to drop the red lines and get this bill over the finish line. Will you sign this petition telling Congress they need to act now?
