NJYD March on Washington on August 28

Hi John, 

The New Jersey Young Democrats  will be joining the Young Democrats of America Mid-Atlantic Region for the March on Washington. The March, organized by Rev. Al Sharpton and Martin Luther King Jr. III, will take place on Friday, August 28, 2020, at the Lincoln Memorial to commemorate the 57th anniversary of the historic March on Washington where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. PPE will be provided.

In addition, there will be an official YDA Mid-Atlantic Welcome Reception on Thursday night for those coming in the day before. It's currently scheduled for 8-10 pm to give people enough time to get settled in on Thursday. You don’t want to miss it or the sushi! 

Accomodations: Those joining through NJYD will be able to stay at Moxy By Marriott Washington DC Downtown. The rate is $127 per night for TWO nights.
