This is an urgent and appalling update, Friend:
Donald Trump just said he's blocking desperately needed funding for the U.S. Postal Service to prevent universal mail-in voting this November.
He's not even trying to hide it: Trump knows he will lose if more people are able to vote. He is actively suppressing the vote by purposely forcing Americans to choose between casting their ballots in the election and protecting their health.
Throughout his administration, Trump has shamelessly sided with dictators. He cannot stand the fact that the American people have learned their lesson over the past 3+ years ... and are ready to express their anger and rejection.
We cannot stay silent. That's why I need 10,000 people to join me in demanding Donald Trump stop blocking emergency funding to the USPS immediately. I'm counting on you to be one of them.
Will you sign the petition now to demand Donald Trump stop his attacks on the U.S. Postal Service? As we approach the most important election of our lifetimes, we cannot afford to lose this vital agency.

During this pandemic, the U.S. Postal Service has been a lifeline for millions of Americans. It's how those most vulnerable to this virus have been able to get necessities like medications and groceries delivered to their homes. And it's how the American people will be able to vote on Election Day without risking their health and safety.
There couldn't be more at stake this November. I won't stand by while Donald Trump tries to steal another four years in power – chipping away at our democracy in the process. Every single one of us must join in this critical fight. So please, will you speak out alongside me right now?
