We have sent a lot of messages about Monday’s mid-FEC fundraising deadline, so before I ask you again to contribute, I think it’s important I explain why we’re pushing so hard to hit this goal.

We’re entering the final stretch of this election. Our opponent is within single digits of us right now, and Republican groups are hammering Colorado voters with misleading and ridiculously nasty attacks on yours truly.

Now don’t worry, I can take it. I’ve been here before.

But we cannot let Mitch McConnell’s right-wing donor network flood the airwaves with ballots dropping right around the corner. A lot of folks are just now tuning in to the election — which is why we cannot let the GOP drown us out.

It’s very likely that the TV and digital ads we run in the coming weeks will determine whether or not we win this race. Which means, it could all come down to how you respond right now:
