Friend — Tomorrow at midnight, we face our first end-of-month fundraising deadline since I filed for re-election, and with 36 hours to go until it closes, I am writing to ask:

Is there ANYTHING I can say to convince you to chip in to my campaign for Congress today?

What if I told you that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth have launched a sham investigation into me to seek retribution against me for blowing the whistle on him nearly 7 years ago?

What if I told you that I’m running for re-election in a new district and I need resources to reach new voters, build new relationships, organize in new parts of the state, and grow our grassroots movement?

What if I told you that I’m fighting back against Trump’s cruel and authoritarian agenda in Congress, but I need support from you and this grassroots team to fuel our movement to continue defending our democracy?

And what if I told you that with so little time left before our April fundraising deadline, we still need folks from this team to chip in if we want to reach our goals before midnight tomorrow?
