Drivers reminded of major changes to the city road network in Broadmarsh area this weekend

Drivers are being reminded that significant changes to Nottinghams road network have come into force as plans to pedestrianise Collin Street and other parts of the Broadmarsh area begin.

The changes mean that drivers who usually use Collin Street, Canal Street, Middle Hill and Greyfriar Gate will need to reroute via the Southern Relief Route - we've created some handy videos to help you [ [link removed] ] get used to the new layout and routes around the city.

Resurfacing Nuthall Road
nuthall road resurfacing

From Wednesday 19 August - Tuesday 25 August essential resurfacing works will be taking place on Nuthall Road's inbound lanes from outside Tonsorium (barber shop) to Albert Avenue.

Nuthall Road will remain open to outbound traffic but those travelling into the city will be required to follow a signed diversion.

Parking will be prohibited in the work area but footway access will be unaffected to maintain access to shops and properties. Traffic marshals will be present to ensure safe access to residents living in the area and on side roads.
