Patriot,
As I warned you this morning, Speaker Mike Johnson and his statist cronies are spending every possible moment twisting arms to get a long-term renewal of Section 702.

We specifically were wary of three Republicans on the Rules Committee: Chip Roy, Ralph Norman, and Morgan Griffith.

All three talk the talk when it comes to warrantless spying on Americans. But when it came time to walk the walk, all three failed you and me and the Constitution today!

On the first vote for a warrant amendment, Morgan Griffith actually fled the room during the discussion before the vote, resulting in a 6-6 tie on the amendment.

Later, a slightly-modified amendment was put forward by the Democrats.

This time, Ralph Norman voted “no,” and Morgan Griffith literally bolted from the room just before the vote.

The Democrats tried again with a slightly modified amendment. Ralph Norman and Chip Roy both voted “no.” Morgan Griffith again slipped out the side door to avoid voting.
The hearing is ongoing, so who knows what will happen next?

This all happened on a day when King Charles spoke to Congress.

You’d think the Declaration of Independence was not a thing, and the monarchy was back in charge, telling the masses to go away after kissing the king’s ring!

Unbelievable . . . but all true.

The expectation now is the Rules Committee will pass the procedural rule without a warrant requirement.

It’s up to you and me to stop it on the floor.

It all boils down to one thing:

No warrant requirement? NO DEAL!

You and I need to keep up the pressure!

We still have a chance to stymie the statists. They are struggling now, thanks to your efforts.

Let’s keep it up and force a warrant requirement.

If you’ve already called your representative today, call again. You might get a live person or you might have to leave a message.

Call your U.S. Representative at 202-225-3121 and demand they vote “NO” on any rule or bill that does not include a warrant requirement in Section 702.

Make your phone call now, and let’s keep the statists running.

Thank you for all you do for liberty.

John McCardell

P.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson is still running scared because of your efforts.

Let’s keep it going.

FISA Section 702 expires in just two days!

But Johnson and his cronies are working hard and twisting arms to RAM a long-term renewal through.

Call your U.S. Representative at 202-225-3121 and demand they vote “NO” on any rule or bill that does not include a warrant requirement in Section 702.
