As donations from the global community come pouring into Beirut, overwhelmed hospitals still find themselves working to treat thousands injured and wounded with a rapidly shrinking number of essential medical supplies. People in Lebanon are facing dire circumstances and struggling to access vital care. Immediate action is needed and this is where YOU can help.

Thanks to the power of your collective giving, CAAP’s initial Disaster Relief Fund ([link removed]) campaign resulted in a grant of $75,155 to the Lebanese Red Cross ([link removed]) to support their critical relief work. Now we are launching a second campaign to support the efforts of AFYA Foundation ([link removed]) , ANERA ([link removed]) and Direct Relief ([link removed]) to urgently collect and airlift emergency medical and surgical supplies, personal protective equipment and pharmaceuticals to Lebanon.

What began as an initiative by the American Task Force on Lebanon (ATFL) ([link removed]) and Flint, Michigan-based philanthropists Ghassan and Manal Saab to send immediate and urgent medical and pharmaceutical supplies to Beirut, has grown into a national partnership with several nonprofit organizations and the U.S. government to quickly deliver essential supplies to hospitals and NGOs on the ground.
