Patriot,
In a rare show of “bipartisanship” in the House Rules Committee just minutes ago, two of the three Republicans we wrote to you about earlier today, voted for the warrant requirement you and I have asked for.
But Morgan Griffith (202-225-3861) walked out of the meeting before the vote. The result was a 6-6 vote, and the warrant requirement amendment failed.
Griffith miraculously appeared back on the dais after the vote.
Presumably, the full House will vote on the rule late tonight.
Call your U.S. Representative now at 202-225-3121 and tell them to vote “NO” on the rule. If the rule passes, tell them to vote “NO” on the renewal of FISA Section 702 without a real warrant requirement.
This is our best chance to stymie the statists. They are struggling now thanks to your efforts and are resorting to dirty tricks and schemes.
Your calls do matter.
Representatives are hiding because of the pressure you’re putting on them.
Call your U.S. Representative now at 202-225-3121 and tell them to vote “NO” on the rule. If the rule passes, tell them to vote “NO” on the renewal of FISA Section 702 without a real warrant requirement.
Thank you for all you do for liberty.

P.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith went into hiding instead of voting for a warrant requirement.
Now you and I need to call our representatives and tell them to vote “NO” on the rule tonight. If the rule does pass, they MUST VOTE “NO” on the FISA 702 renewal.
