Our GOP candidate Loren Culp claims that he's the "law and order" candidate.

But when it comes to enforcing laws he doesn't like, like gun safety laws that keep Washingtonians safe and alive? Well, suddenly, those enforcing them become the Gestapo. An overstatement? Not to Loren Culp: "I don't think it's overstating anything. It's showing the same thing that happens when police officers disregard citizens' rights."

This is our Republican nominee for governor. If we don't take it seriously, we could have a Donald Trump clone unseat Jay -- that's why our midnight goal is very real and very important. We set a $25,000 goal and we're just $4,567 short: Will you donate $5 or more before midnight tonight to fight back against Jay's GOP extremist opponent?

I don't need to remind you what happened the last time we had a "joke candidate" like this who made extreme statements and promises no one ever expected would become a reality. We can't let it happen again.
