JOHN, it's Mike Van Someren running for Wisconsin State Senate.

I'm reaching out because my April End of Month Fundraising Deadline is on Thursday, and I'm still $2,971 short of my goal.

But before I ask you to chip in, I want to talk about some numbers that don't add up in our politics:

For 40 years we’ve been told the economy is growing and the system is working—but Wisconsinites are working harder just to earn less.

That's because career politicians in Madison are fighting over who gets credit instead of whether or not a policy actually works. They are negotiating behind closed doors to give tax breaks to companies that promise jobs but oftentimes deliver less, and they are "clapping back" at their opposition while housing and healthcare costs keep rising, and wages fail to keep up.

I'm running for State Senate because we should send leaders to Madison who make sure Wisconsinites can get ahead—not ones who have left our neighbors behind for decades.

I need your help to get there, JOHN. My End of Month Fundraising Deadline is in three days, and we're only $2,971 away from reaching our goal so we can get on the ballot, flip this seat, and put our families first in the State Senate. Will you chip in to help me reach it?

Thank you,
Mike Van Someren
