Dear Supporter,

August has been our best month yet!  We have been all over the state and met so many wonderful supporters.  

But today, I really need your help hit our monthly fundraising goal. 

This week, Real Clear Politics reported that wealthy New York donors are pouring money into my Democratic opponent's coffers in an attempt to purchase NY another U.S. Senate seat.

We already have a Senator that is bought and paid for by special interests -- we do not need another one!  

My vote is not for sale and I, as I have my entire life, stand with the people of NC and vow to stand up for YOU in the U.S. Senate. 

We have upcoming campaign visits in Rutherford, Buncombe, Craven and Durham counties.  We clearly have the momentum in this race and we have to keep it up.  I need your help to do that today!
