I wanted to make sure you saw this note from Azam as we close in on our mid-month grassroots fundraising deadline.
Got a quick moment, friend?
I wanted to make sure you saw this note from Azam as we close in on our mid-month grassroots fundraising deadline.
Like Azam, I find it hard to believe that it’s already been 300 days since E-Day 2019, but it’s a reminder that we can’t slow down for a moment in our work to keep Canada moving forward. With the Conservatives set to name their new leader next week, we need to stay ready to keep building on our progress for Canadians.
Your support powers everything we do and all we can achieve together, friend. And right now, we need your help before our mid-August deadline to keep laying the groundwork for the important months ahead.
If you’re able, please chip in $10 today (or whatever amount works for you) to support our progress and keep Canada moving forward.
Thank you – and all my best to you and yours for the second half of August,
Suzanne Cowan President Liberal Party of Canada

It’s hard to believe, friend, but as of this week it’s already been 300 days since Election Day 2019.
And even through the unprecedented challenges that have faced Canadians this year, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team have been working harder than ever to build a better future and keep Canada moving forward.
Together, we’re continuing to invest in the middle class and the most vulnerable, protect and create good jobs, keep Canadians safe and healthy, and protect a clean environment. And even just in the past few months, the Liberal government has increased the Canada Child Benefit again, placed an immediate ban on assault-style weapons in Canada, and seen the new NAFTA come into force on July 1 to help safeguard Canadian jobs and support our workers, families, and small businesses.
But we can never take our progress for granted, friend – especially in a minority Parliament. Just yesterday, the Bloc Québecois announced that they will attempt to bring down our government this fall, and earlier this summer the Conservative Party launched an “Early Election Fund.”
That’s why our hope and hard work is more important than ever. This summer, our teams have been stepping up our vital democratic engagement work and having important conversations about Canadians about what matters most to them, as well as hosting a series successful Virtual Weekends of Action (and the next one is August 22-23!).
All of our progress is made possible thanks to dedicated supporters like you, friend. And right now, we’re approaching our mid-August online fundraising deadline. Will you help us reach our goal this month?
We know that not everyone is in a position to give right now, and that’s ok – we appreciate you standing with us in every possible way. If you’re able though, please chip in $10 today (or whatever amount works for you) to support our progress and keep Canada moving forward.
