Hey John, can you make your first contribution to Roy's re-election campaign?
We hate to be so direct, but here's why your contribution today would mean a lot.
Sharlese and the finance team crunched the numbers yesterday, and we're about $25,000 short our mid-month goal.
This will be a crucial benchmark for our monthly goal, as in the slow summer fundraising months we need to make sure we're hitting all our targets.
Roy's far-right opponent has been holding dangerous, in-person fundraisers, while his dark-money backed supporters at the RGA are planning to spend whatever it takes to get him elected and beat Roy.
August is a tough month for grassroots fundraising, and if we fall short of this critical mid-month goal while foregoing our in-person fundraising events, we risk being outspent with less than 90 days to go until the election!
So, now that you know what's at stake, can Roy and the team count on you to rush your first contribution of $10?

We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
