John, Colin made a tough decision at the end of last year.

He made the choice to end his Senate race in Texas – and I wanted to take a moment to explain why it means so much.

The truth is that a few months ago, a lot of great candidates were throwing their hat into the ring to finally flip Texas blue. Colin knew that if he stayed in the race, it would surely end in a bruising, costly runoff for Democrats. 

Now, as the GOP is dealing with the same exact thing Colin wanted to avoid for Democrats, I'm as confident as ever that he made the right choice. But now, Colin's facing his own battle in his new congressional race – and he's counting on your gift to help him spread his ads across North Texas, reach every voter he possibly can, and win the runoff on May 26th.

After all Colin put into his Senate race – meeting with folks on the campaign trail, speaking out on what mattered most, giving every ounce of effort he had – I know how hard it was for him to step aside.

But Colin knew that this was bigger than his ego: This is our one chance to flip Texas blue in the Senate AND take back the House as a unified party. And at a moment where so much is wrong in this country, we can't afford to fail now.

I'm beyond proud of my husband. He's selfless. He's determined. He has the integrity that Texas needs in a leader. And he's ready to fight for the community that raised him and where we raise our two boys today. But he can't get there alone.

Colin isn't in this for himself – it's why he refuses to take a dime from corporate PACs or special interests. Instead, he's counting on grassroots folks like you.
