Before we ask you to chip in $3 before our end-of-month deadline, we want to shed light on the stakes in this race.

1. After flipping CA-45 by 653 votes in 2024, Derek is locked in one of the most critical races for House control. Political experts have ranked him as the most vulnerable Democratic incumbent in the state.

2. Even after Proposition 50 changed district lines across California, CA-45 remains one of the most competitive races nationwide – and with FOUR Republicans challengers, the national GOP is targeting this district to expand their MAGA majority.

3. We’re increasing our voter outreach efforts to reach the thousands of new voters in this district and hold the line for winning Democratic control – from door knocking to running digital ads and more. That takes resources, especially when we’re up against outside spending.

That’s why we have to ask: Will you chip in $3 ahead of our end-of-month deadline? With the primary election approaching, this is our opportunity to show strength and prepare for the attacks to come.
