I need to apologize to you.

I’m sorry, truly I am.

I’m sorry that some people accuse you of not being MAGA if you don’t make a donation.

I’m sorry that some people lie to you about who they are to try to trick you into donating.

And I’m sorry that many folks don’t even show their appreciation when you do donate.

It drives me crazy that people try to treat you like that, and it’s important to hear why I do things differently.

First things first.

This is Majority Leader Steve Scalise.

Secondly, I want to thank you for all of the support you’ve given to the GOP over the years; it really means a lot.

But right now we’re staring down some concerning numbers, and it has my team and I really worried.

The Democrats are currently unloading 100 million dollars into 35 GOP seats to obliterate our House Majority once and for all, and here is the truth: Right now, we simply don’t have the funds to fully fund our campaign operations in all 35 races.

So the simple truth is that I need your help before our House Majority is a thing of the past.

If you can’t afford to help right now, no problem. I won’t hold that against you. Taking care of your loved ones always comes first. I will never question your Party loyalty or shame you for not making a donation.

HOWEVER – if you can make a donation, I promise not a single penny will go unnoticed, and it will go a long way to helping to save our House Majority.

Because right now we’re facing down our critical end-of-month deadline, and it’s looking like we’ll fall well short of the goals that I set out.

I’m sorry to be a bother, really I am, but are you willing to chip in just a few bucks to help us crush our major fundraising deadline?
