Pennsylvania’s primary is less than a month away, which means we have limited time to get New Voter Guides into the hands of newly eligible voters before they cast their first ballots.
Vote Forward launched New Voter Guides as a pilot campaign to help first-time voters move from intending to vote to actually casting a ballot.
Each guide pairs a handwritten note from a volunteer with clear, practical voting information and planning tools that help newly registered voters follow through with voting.
And thanks to this community, we’re able to provide hundreds of Stamp and Letter Kits to volunteers facing practical or financial barriers to participation. The kits contain enough printed letter templates, envelopes, and stamps to send batches of 20 New Voter Guides to fellow citizens, and tomorrow is the last day to request one.
This campaign is on a tight timeline, and we’re at 50% of voters adopted—but we’re still aiming to send letters to an additional 103,000 voters. We have just a few more weeks to reach these first-time voters, so we can learn faster, improve new voter contact approaches, and scale what works for November and beyond.
Thank you for making it possible for more newly eligible voters to show up and take part in the Pennsylvania primary election.
