I'll get straight to the point, Jack: The financial hardships that Daily Kos is facing this year are tough.

We continue to be paywall-free. We continue to be supported by our readers, not billionaires or corporations. But we did have to make some difficult budget decisions and cuts in 2025. We won’t let this impact the quality of our content, but we don’t want to have to make more.
