Here are a couple of things at the top of our minds:

1. This is our first fundraising deadline of the quarter since our opponent was named. And in that time, they've already been courting anti-Democratic billionaires to try and purchase this district. We can't show them weakness right now.
    
2. The extreme right is ramping up their attacks against me. Mike Johnson's Congressional Leadership Fund just announced ad buys in our media market as part of a $153 million series of attacks. It’s important that we counter their spin, but communicating with voters takes resources.

Looking back, it’s clear that consistent grassroots fundraising was a deciding factor in our close victories the past two cycles. This time around will be no different. It will be critical for us to meet (and even exceed) our monthly fundraising targets.
