It’s Andy, Don’s campaign manager, checking in just three days before our monthly fundraising deadline! I know you hear about these deadlines often, so I wanted to explain exactly why reaching our $25,000 goal on time is so critical for us right now.

🐄 Don is not a career politician. While running for Congress, he still runs a small business and a ranch. This means that when he’s not at a campaign event or meeting with voters, he’s feeding and checking on cattle.

🚜 It’s a life that keeps him grounded and focused on the issues that matter to Kansans. It also means that, like during a recent fundraising deadline when some cows got loose, he sometimes has to drop everything to fix a problem on the ranch, and in turn has less time to fundraise.
