Ron DeSantis, who multiple news outlets report has been “begging” Trump for a prime appointment or Administration post, doesn’t care about that. That’s why Trump’s minion DeSantis did his bidding and drafted the new map from inside the Governor’s Mansion: shrouding the entire process in secrecy and justifying keeping it hidden from the public, advocates, and the courts by exerting “Executive Privilege.” DeSantis will pull off a ‘MAGA Miracle’ in Florida, saving Trump and preserving the GOP’s razor-thin House majority, unless we stop him. Last month, we did a test run billboard campaign that exposed unelected MAGA Senator Ashley Moody’s unflinching support for lawless ICE officers. It was a huge success: support came rushing in from all over, as people saw who we were fighting against here and wanted to help. Floridians began questioning who she was and why she represented them. We can do this again, but we have to move fast: DeSantis released his secret gerrymandered FL map just this morning, and the GOP-dominated Legislature will try to rubber stamp it quickly to avoid debate.
