[RPSDC] 🎥 Video Update on Candidate Recruitment and Ballot Arguments

Just a quick update about your party's activities the last week or so Jack:

We recruited TONS of candidates for local office.
Our staff literally set up camp outside the Registrar of Voters office to help candidates with getting properly filed for the various offices.
Early tally is Republicans won 78 (!) seats outright while Democrats only picked up 40.
That's a huge improvement from the initial prospects of 195 (!) seats going to the Democrats by default!
We also successfully filed ballot arguments against local bad bonds and all tax increases, working through intentional local jurisdictional hurdles.

All of this THANKS TO YOUR SUPPORT in stepping up to run for office, signing up to volunteer, or supporting us financially by joining a donor club!

I'm happy to volunteer my time but in order to stay on offense we need to make sure our staff and volunteers have what they need to support our entire Republican ticket, from President Trump all the way to local planning groups.

Synopsis: This is the incumbent Democrat's first re-elect. We have a real opportunity to flip this seat. The road to a Republican House majority goes through San Diego County.

Hon. Kristin Gaspar (Re-Elect)
Office: County Board of Supervisors, 3rd District
Synopsis: The majority on the Board is at stake. If Kristin's Democrat opponent wins, we're looking at slimy, glib Nathan Fletcher running the show to push a far-left agenda.

Senator Joel Anderson (Elect)
Office: County Board of Supervisors, 2nd District
Synopsis: With Dianne Jacob (finally) termed out it's time to put Joel in that seat, bringing a solid conservative record and approach to East County - or "God's country" as we call it.

Dr. Melanie Burkholder (Pick-Up Opportunity)
Office: State Assembly, 76th District
Synopsis: This district has traditionally been Republican and was lost last cycle due to too many Republicans running. We can take this set back and Melanie is just the person to do it.

Synopsis: June is running to hold turncoat Brian Maienschein accountable after he re-registered as a Democrat because he saw that as easier than being principled. He needs to go.

Joe Leventhal (Pick-Up Opportunity)
Office: San Diego City Council, District 5
Synopsis: Current councilman Mark Kersey is termed out and Joe will put District 5 back in the Republican column. His opponent is a hand-picked, out-of-town extreme left Democrat.

Noli Zosa (Elect)
Office: San Diego City Council, District 7
Synopsis: Noli is running to keep this seat in Republican hands. The excellent Scott Sherman is termed out and Democrats would love to get their hands on this seat. We won't let them.
