The fatal flaws in our health care system have been hurting our communities long before COVID started, but this pandemic has made those pains more obvious than ever. A solution is long overdue.

That’s why I’ve been so proud to work with my friend and colleague Rep. Pramila Jayapal to introduce the Medicare Crisis Program Act earlier this year. This bill would allow the unemployed to opt into Medicare — an important step towards guaranteeing affordable health care for all. And it’s why I’m proud to fight with her for Medicare for All.

We still have a lot of work ahead to make that happen. That’s why I’m inviting you to join Pramila and I for a discussion on the future of healthcare reform next Wednesday at 2pm ET. Will I see you there?

WHAT: A conversation on health care reform with Rep. Pramila Jayapal and Joe Kennedy

WHERE: Virtual! Link provided upon RSVP.

WHEN: Wednesday, August 18 from 2-3 PM ET

We cannot look away from this issue. Let’s get it done.
