Some great news, John: Cameron was endorsed this week by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) -- the country's largest organization fighting on behalf of LGBTQIA+ equality.
HRC stands as a pillar of the ongoing fight for civil rights. And there is still much work to be done, such as passing the Equality Act and reversing recent rules by the current administration that have removed healthcare and civil rights protections for transgender Americans.
As a doctor and educator, Cameron has seen first-hand the devastating effects of discrimination and inequity in our society. In Congress, Cameron will be an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and fight for equity and justice for all.
