Ihssane came to the U.S. from Morocco at the age of 20 with nothing but a small suitcase. She worked sub-minimum wage jobs and became the first person in her family to graduate from college. Following the 2008 financial crisis, her commitment to justice led her to take on corrupt corporations as a Wall Street regulator at the Federal Reserve. She believes we need leaders who represent our diversity and our courage, leaders who aren’t afraid to reject corrupt special interests and who know how to get it done.

Ihssane’s opponents have formed SUPER PACs to dump millions into this race, but Ihssane has the momentum of the progressive movement. Massachusetts’ 4th is a stronghold of the status-quo Democratic establishment, and people there have real needs that have been ignored for too long.
