Just because we’re in the dog days of summer doesn’t mean our opponents aren’t watching our fundraising closely. If we fall behind this month, we have multiple potential challengers waiting in the wings to attack Matt.

We use goals like these to sketch out our plan for the rest of the election. If we hit them, we know what we can spend to make sure voters hear about the issues we’ve been fighting for. If we don’t, we have to scale back our critical field operations and risk having our opponents get to the voters first.
