When I was elected Sheriff In 2017, I knew we needed to find solutions to make MCSO the valuable community resource it should have been all along.

And that is exactly what we did. This past year, we increased hiring by 60%. Maricopa County is one of the largest and fastest-growing counties in the nation, and ensuring we have the personnel resources to keep our community safe is critical.

John, these numbers speak for themselves. Our hard work to turn MCSO around and put safety, accountability, and professionalism above all else has paid off. We put our resources where they really mattered, and we got things done for Maricopa County.
