Today, Vice President Mike Pence helped us kickoff the #FightforAmerica grassroots campaign at a special event in Des Moines, Iowa. The event was streamed for Heritage Action and Heritage members to join in online.

#FightForAmerica is a nationwide grassroots effort to stand up to the radical extremism of the Left.

We’re energizing conservatives to:

1. Support the Police.
2. Defend American values and institutions.
3. Call for accountability within our education system.
4. Fight for America by voting for America.

A very important aspect that was highlighted during the event was the dire need to support our nation’s law enforcement officers. Our police need support from us, but also from our elected leaders.

Today, Heritage Action launched the Police Pledge.

The police pledge reads: “I stand with America’s Law Enforcement Professionals and pledge to vote only for candidates who stand with the police and oppose any bill, resolution, or movement to ‘Defund the Police.’”

I am asking you to do two things today:

1. Sign the pledge at www.PolicePledge.com
2. Ask your elected officials to sign the pledge.

You see, our country is under attack from the radical Left. There are riots in our streets, federal office buildings are being barraged with fireworks and pipe bombs, stores are being looted, and mobs are attacking our law enforcement officers as radical Leftists are calling to defund the police.

America is a nation of laws. She can only be preserved if our elected leaders stand with the police.

So please, join me in signing the Police Pledge. This is the first step to fight back and to #FightForAmerica.
