Friend --
Millions of Americans are facing great uncertainty, and even financial ruin, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet American billionaires saw their fortunes soar by $434 billion during the spring lockdowns! Does this seem fair? Take our quick survey to share your thoughts!
People like Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos have cashed in during the crisis. They’re doing just fine. So are the hundreds of wealthy and well-connected businesses that quickly got huge bailouts from the Trump administration. But there’s millions of out-of-work families who are not doing fine under the President’s bungled response to the pandemic and economic downturn.
While the Trump administration is padding the pockets of billionaires, they are providing only the bare minimum of support to the average American. The President’s recent executive orders would give people who have found themselves unemployed and underemployed as a result of this economic crisis hundreds of dollars less aid than they had been receiving before.
And the executive orders do not include any solutions for the impending housing crisis, which could see as many as 40 million Americans being evicted from their homes.
That’s why Congress needs to do its job and pass a serious relief package that gets help to the people who need it most -- including a full and retroactive extension of the $600 extra federal unemployment benefits.
Friend, this is fundamentally unfair. Average Americans and small businesses -- NOT the wealthy and well-connected -- need support during this crisis.

Thank you so much. And please stay safe.
