While we are all focused on electing Joe Biden as our next President and sending Democratic majorities with him to Congress, we also can’t forget about crucial down ballot races throughout our state. One of the most important is a special election for State Senate to represent the 25th legislative district, which includes much of Morris County and parts of Somerset County. 

This district has been trending Democratic in recent years, and now our party has a real opportunity to take this seat and elect an outstanding candidate -- meet Rupande Mehta! 

An analytical specialist working in sourcing and negotiations on multi-million dollar projects, Rupande has an MBA and a Master's in Public Administration where she was a Fellow of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers.
