I have some good news to share.

Last week the House passed my bill to protect more than 350,000 Haitians living in the United States from deportation. It was the first bill I introduced when I came to Congress and getting it done took persistence, partnership across the aisle and a lot of people in this district who refused to give up.

This is the kind of work I came to Congress to do. Fighting for the people in this district and getting results.

But to keep doing it I need to win this race. Republicans have recruited a candidate to run against me and the NRCC is already spending millions to flip this seat. This district is one of the ones that decides the House majority and they are not going to let up.

Can I count on you to chip in today so we have the resources to defend this seat?
