Folks,

Let's talk about ALEC.

If you're a fan of John Oliver and Last Week Tonight, you may have heard about ALEC's shady work as a powerful, tax-exempt conservative bill mill that's responsible for every disastrous anti-climate law you could imagine.

How does it all work? ALEC hands legislators pre-written bills that advance the interests of membership-paying big polluters like ExxonMobil and Chevron by eliminating environmental regulations, disincentivizing clean energy, criminalizing protests, and forcing climate change denialism into schools.

It's "copy-paste corruption" -- and it's killing our planet. But ALEC only succeeds because of government officials who are willing to sell out their values for a check.

In Congress, I'm working to legislate based on the facts, not the agendas of big polluters or special interests. But I'm a top target for national Republicans in 2020 -- will you chip in to make sure our people-powered campaign has the resources to defend this seat and stand up to corruption?

Chip in >> [link removed]

Together, we can fight for a government that works for us.

Let's do this,

Sean Casten
