Maybe you were a member of the Anchorage Continuum of Care in the past. We are now revitalizing and formalizing membership to strengthen our community's response to homelessness. We invite you to officially join! The Continuum of Care brings together community partners, shared knowledge and resources to improve our system of tailored supports, shelters and housing. Anyone who wants to be part of the solution is welcome. Members may include first responders, healthcare and behavioral health providers, housing providers, outreach teams, public agencies, schools, service providers, Tribes, people with lived experience of homelessness and other engaged community members. When people, organizations and neighbors work together, we can build stronger pathways to housing and individualized supports for those experiencing homelessness. Our work is strongest when it reflects the wisdom, compassion and diversity of our community. Some of you already have a leadership role through the Homelessness Prevention and Response System Advisory Council — we encourage your organization to join.
