Hi, John. This is a short email with our team's good news and not-so-good news from this week.

The good news: We just finished planning out our August investments, and we were able to fully fund every single critical program because we shattered our July end-of-month fundraising goal.

The not-so-good news: Katie's re-election race is getting more competitive by the day, which means we need to meet the moment and make August our best fundraising month yet. But, to be candid, our fundraising progress has slowed down this week.
