Tony Evers announced today that he is seeking applicants for the Court of Appeals – District IV. The appointments will fill vacancies being created by Judge Chris Taylor’s election to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as well as Judge Brian W. Blanchard’s retirement, effective Nov. 8, 2026. The new judges will complete terms ending July 31, 2027, and July 31, 2028, respectively.

District IV consists of Adams, Clark, Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Dodge, Grant, Green, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Juneau, La Crosse, Lafayette, Marquette, Monroe, Portage, Richland, Rock, Sauk, Vernon, Waupaca, Waushara, and Wood Counties.
