Tonight and tomorrow, the traditional political establishment, media executives, celebrities, and corporate billionaires will all put on tuxedos and ballgowns for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and its endless string of exclusive pre-parties.

They are going to clink champagne glasses and share polite laughs with the exact same administration officials who are actively, systematically dismantling our democracy. It is the ultimate display of access journalism, cowardice, and complicity.

They want to pretend everything is normal. They want to normalize this regime because it protects their status and their tax brackets.

We are not going to let them.

If we want to change their behavior, they have to pay a price in the real world. That includes having people who will call you out to your face.

This morning, we are sending a dedicated street team directly to Washington to attend WHCD-related events and confront the enablers who are kissing up to this administration.

Elections are critical, but accountability cannot wait for November. We have to hold them accountable in the court of public opinion today.
