Hi there,

Hope Walz here! It’s almost fall, and next week I’m starting my first year at the University of Minnesota (GO GOPHERS!!). But before my classes pick up, I wanted to reach out one more time to emphasize something really important.

It’s undeniable that Minnesota is at the top of Trump’s list going into 2020. He knows that if he’s successful in flipping us red, he’ll be re-elected.

Here’s what that means for us: Trump and his right-wing allies are going to pour record-breaking sums of money into our state, and that could have devastating consequences down the entire ballot.

My dad has always been a team player (and never one to back down from a challenge). He understands the role he has, and over the past several months, I’ve seen first-hand the work he’s doing with his campaign to prepare for the unbelievable battle ahead.

They’re meeting with activists, community leaders, and candidates in every corner of the state, laying the groundwork to take back the Minnesota Senate, connecting with voters directly, and so much more.

Their work is essential, and it’s only possible if they continue hitting their budget targets. This morning, I reached out to Berrett (my dad’s campaign finance director) and he said they’re still more than $4,300 short of their August goal. Their deadline is TOMORROW. Will you please make a contribution of $5 or more so they can make up the difference?
