Hi there, Hope Walz here! It’s almost fall, and next week I’m starting my first year at the University of Minnesota (GO GOPHERS!!). But before my classes pick up, I wanted to reach out one more time to emphasize something really important. It’s undeniable that Minnesota is at the top of Trump’s list going into 2020. He knows that if he’s successful in flipping us red, he’ll be re-elected. Here’s what that means for us: Trump and his right-wing allies are going to pour record-breaking sums of money into our state, and that could have devastating consequences down the entire ballot. My dad has always been a team player (and never one to back down from a challenge). He understands the role he has, and over the past several months, I’ve seen first-hand the work he’s doing with his campaign to prepare for the unbelievable battle ahead. They’re meeting with activists, community leaders, and candidates in every corner of the state, laying the groundwork to take back the Minnesota Senate, connecting with voters directly, and so much more. Their work is essential, and it’s only possible if they continue hitting their budget targets. This morning, I reached out to Berrett (my dad’s campaign finance director) and he said they’re still more than $4,300 short of their August goal. Their deadline is TOMORROW. Will you please make a contribution of $5 or more so they can make up the difference? If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: We all worked together to build one of the strongest grassroots campaigns in Minnesota history in 2018. Now we need to throw our full weight behind supporting our allies up and down the ticket and keeping Minnesota blue. It’s not going to be easy, but I believe in this movement, this team, and most importantly, our shared vision of One Minnesota. Please, make a contribution that works for you today. Thanks for reading! Hope Walz P.S.: On top of it all, my dad still managed to find the time to carry an incredible amount of boxes up and down the stairs to help me this week!
