Whether or not you live in California, we need you to call your state’s attorney general and urge them to take a strong antitrust stance against the Paramount Skydance/WBD merger: 202-688-0628.

Call your state attorney general and urge them to block the Paramount/WBD merger: 202-851-8011.
Friend,
The proposed merger between Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) would result in unprecedented U.S. media consolidation, bringing significant job losses, fewer choices for consumers and less diversity in Hollywood.
Paramount CEO David Ellison and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison are determined to control everything you see and hear. The father-and-son duo already own CBS and TikTok, and acquiring WBD would give them control over CNN as well. They have promised sweeping changes to CNN — and we know what that means: firing journalists, killing important stories and serving up MAGA propaganda. That’s the same playbook they ran when they took control of CBS last year.
No one family should own CBS, TikTok and CNN — especially not one that’s in the pocket of our authoritarian president.
Despite the Ellisons’ growing wealth and political power, this isn’t over yet. We’re urging state attorneys general to step up and conduct an honest antitrust review. We can’t do it without you, though — please call: 202-851-8011 right away.
Here's a script you can use:

The Ellisons aren’t just cozying up to Trump: They’re all-in on his agenda and are doing whatever they can to enact it. They have paid off Trump,[1] spiked stories on 60 Minutes[2] that criticize the administration, appointed conservative blogger Bari Weiss as editor in chief of CBS News, ousted and silenced Stephen Colbert[3] and suggested that Oracle’s stockpile of users’ personal data could build a domestic surveillance state.[4]
In any normal administration, the Paramount/WBD deal would be a nonstarter.[5]
With your help, we’ll keep working with state regulators to safeguard the public’s interests. Call your state attorney general right away: 202-851-8011.
Thank you,
Heather and the rest of us at Free Press
