‘SCUMBAG’ SCHUMER’S ICE ATTACK BACKFIRES

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin just put Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer in his place.

After Schumer smeared ICE and Border Patrol agents on the Senate floor — claiming “nobody respects” them and they are “dreaded in all corners of the country” — Mullin didn’t hold back.

“Chuck Schumer: No one respects you,” Mullin fired back.

“The definition of a lying scumbag politician — that is you. You would be the definition if you Googled you right now.”

President Trump, moreover, demanded that Schumer apologize. But Schumer hasn’t — and likely won’t.

VIRGINIA COURT THWARTS DEMS

Democrats celebrated too soon.

Just one day after Virginia voters narrowly approved the egregious Democrat-drawn gerrymander, a county judge ruled the referendum unconstitutional and blocked its certification.

The case now heads to the Virginia Supreme Court, where former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli predicts Democrats are in trouble.

“The reality is that the ‘yes’ votes now have to face and overcome four very serious state constitutional challenges to hold onto their win,” Cuccinelli said. “I don't think they can do it.”

FOUR REPUBLICANS TANK SAVE ACT MEASURES

Sen. John Kennedy tried to save election integrity. But four Republicans stopped him.

Kennedy offered an amendment Thursday that would have instructed the Senate Rules Committee to craft legislation requiring voter ID, ensuring only U.S. citizens vote in federal elections, and limiting early voting — core components of the SAVE America Act.

But it failed 48-50. Why? Four RINO senators joined Democrats to block it.

You can probably already guess the names: Sens. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Thom Tillis, and Mitch McConnell.

SENATE BREAKS DEMS’ ICE BLOCKADE

Senate Republicans have found a way around Chuck Schumer’s DHS shutdown.

After a marathon vote-a-rama, the Senate adopted a GOP budget blueprint 50-48 to fund ICE and Border Patrol through budget reconciliation — a move that bypasses Democrats entirely.

“Republicans will have helped ensure that America’s borders are secure and prevented Democrats from defunding these important agencies,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune said.

The resolution now heads to the House.

DOJ RESCHEDULES (SOME) MARIJUANA

The Trump Justice Department just made a historic move on marijuana.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche signed an order Thursday reclassifying FDA-approved and state-licensed medical marijuana from Schedule I down to Schedule III.

“The Department of Justice is delivering on President Trump’s promise to expand Americans’ access to medical treatment options,” Blanche said.

For now, recreational marijuana remains a Schedule I drug under federal law. However, the DOJ is launching an expedited hearing in June to consider rescheduling marijuana more broadly.
