Patriot,

I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth.

I grew up in Southern California with a father in and out of jail, and a mom who fought every single day to keep our family afloat.

By age nine, I had already seen things no child should have to see. I grew up in broken neighborhoods, saw addiction destroy lives, and felt the kind of fear that never really leaves you.

But I refused to let hardship define me. Instead, I chose to fight back.

At nineteen, I enlisted in the United States Air Force. In my six years of service, I was determined to build a better life and to protect the country that gave me a chance at the American Dream.

I know what it means to live paycheck to paycheck. I know what it’s like to go a day without a meal. And I know what it means to claw your way up when the odds are stacked against you.

That’s why I’m in Congress today. I didn’t get here because of family connections or because I made friends at some elite school.

I got here because I believe that if you work hard, fight for what you believe in, and refuse to give in when all else is against you, nothing can stop you from doing great things.

The Left hates someone like me: a strong, conservative, and the first Mexican-American woman to represent Florida in Congress, who refuses to bow to their agenda.

They’re doing everything they can to smear me, attack me, and tear me down.

But I didn’t survive everything I’ve been through just to throw in the towel when it mattered most.

To me, the American Dream means this: no matter where you come from or what obstacles you face, you can build a better life for yourself and your family. America is and always will be the land of opportunity.

But today, the Left is trying to destroy that dream – replacing independence and self-reliance with government control, and weakening the very values that make this country and its people strong.

I believe America needs leaders who will stand up for freedom, defend our Constitution, protect our families, and keep the American Dream alive.

People like you and I are all that stand in the way of the radical-Left taking away that dream forever.
