Dear Friend,

You believe nuclear weapons should be abolished. So do we. That's why we need to share something with you today.

Our new report has revealed that 301 banks, pension funds and investment firms have significant financial ties to the nuclear weapons industry. Investors held over $709 billion in bonds and shares and just under $300 billion was provided in loans and underwriting. And for the first time in years, the number of investors is going up, not down.

institutions connected to the nuclear weapons industry over time

Is your bank on the list?

Why? Because powerful voices in the arms industry and government have been pressuring financial institutions to put profits ahead of principles, and to stop asking hard questions about what their money actually supports.

Nuclear weapons are not like other weapons. A single nuclear bomb can kill hundreds of thousands of people instantly. There is no way to use one without causing catastrophic, indiscriminate harm. That's why for years, many responsible investors chose not to profit from them.

That progress is now under threat.

Here's what you can do:

👀  Find out if your bank or pension fund is on the list.

🤳 Share our report with someone who needs to see it.

✍️  Contact your bank and ask :
do you invest in nuclear weapons companies? |
(Here's a template you can cut and paste into your banking app).

The latest Don’t Bank on the Bomb report reveals a staggering surge in global financing for the nuclear weapons industry: 301 institutions poured money into the industry last year. A troubling sign of growing investment and rising risks of a nuclear arms race. Find out more and what you can do -->

The world is at a critical moment. The solution is not investing more in nuclear weapons, it's demanding that our money doesn't make them more likely to be used.

Thank you for standing with us.

With hope,
