** Only ONE WEEK and a bit to go! March for Life 2026
------------------------------------------------------------

With just over a week to go until the March for Life in Dublin, we’re counting on you to be with us on the day!

The march is far more than just another date in the calendar - this annual event is making a real difference in strengthening the pro-life movement, energising volunteers, and reminding our political leaders that the call for alternatives to abortion to be prioritised cannot be ignored.

As well as being present on the day, please spread the word to family and friends to be part of this great day - Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May, at St Stephen’s Green at 2pm. It’s a chance for all of us to stand in solidarity, to be encouraged, and to play our part in creating change.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you there. Sincerest thanks for all your support!

** Get ready to vote pro-life in upcoming by-elections!
------------------------------------------------------------

The writs for the Dublin Central and Galway West by-elections were moved in the Dáil earlier this week, with voting to take place on Friday 22th May.

As always, we are calling on voters to ‘think pro-life’ before they vote. In advance of polling day, we will publish a ‘Voter Guide’ on our website outlining where candidates and parties stand.

With the massive increase in abortions since the law changed in 2019, we need more pro-life representatives elected at every level who are committed to supporting life and working to reduce the number of abortions.

Recent elections have shown just how powerful the pro-life vote can be, with real breakthroughs in representation. But we’ve a long way to go - and that’s where volunteers come in. We need people on the ground to canvass, leaflet, and help spread the message in their communities.

If you live in one of the two by-election constituencies, or have family or friends registered to vote there, be sure to visit prolifecampaign.ie before polling day to check the stances of candidates. If you’re interested in supporting pro-life candidates on the ground, you can email us at [email protected] with any questions, and we’ll happily connect you with the relevant campaign teams.

Every election matters. Together, we will help turn the tide in a pro-life election!

** Canadian woman offered euthanasia before doctors determined source of her pain
------------------------------------------------------------

An 84-year-old Canadian woman says she was offered assisted suicide in an emergency room before doctors had even determined the cause of her pain.

Miriam Lancaster recalls how she woke up in severe, unexplained back pain. Concerned, her daughter called an ambulance, and she was taken to Vancouver General Hospital for treatment.

** When your theory meets the real world!
------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone willing to put their viewpoints under scrutiny, especially at college age, deserves credit - it’s far from the easy path. That said, the problem for the “pro-choice” movement in general is that, beyond their highly effective slogans, their arguments start to crumble under the weight of even the gentlest scrutiny. It’s why they typically avoid debate and rely on a compliant, incurious media to do all the work for them in ensuring proper debate doesn’t happen. Watch this short reel from a recent discussion on a U.S. campus.
