Over the past several months, I’ve read the news and thought to myself, Where is our humanity? What happened to our basic sense of decency?

Under President Trump’s leadership, ICE and its rogue agents have been terrorizing our communities, hunting down our neighbors, and inflicting a level of cruelty that’s hard to fathom. 

Kids – some as young as two months old – are being held at the Dilley detention center here in Texas. They're writing letters about the inhumane conditions and begging to go home.

As a former congressman, I’m alarmed by the complete lack of due process and the fact that Congress continues to write ICE blank checks with zero accountability. As a father and an American citizen, I’m heartbroken by what I’ve seen.

It’s clear to me that no amount of reform can fix this broken, out-of-control agency.

We must abolish ICE, and we must do it now.

I’m running for Congress to fight back against this administration’s mass deportation agenda and stand up for every Texan who calls the 33rd District home – and I need you with me.

My opponent is a sitting congresswoman who personally profited off of ICE. Publicly, she was bashing Trump’s cruel immigration policies; privately, she was investing in Palantir, the billion-dollar company that’s helping ICE track and target our neighbors.

We have to defeat her in the May runoff election, and I can’t do it alone. If you’re upset by what’s going on in our country and believe that our leaders should solve problems, not exploit them, will you chip in now to help me win this race and flip the House for Democrats?
