This month, we watched in awe as Christina Koch made history as the first woman to journey around the Moon.
I am so proud of Christina and the entire Artemis II crew. Their safe return is proof that when America innovates and unites behind a bold mission, we can accomplish the extraordinary.
Christina’s story didn’t start in space — it started in a classroom, in a lab, on a campus right here in NC-02. As a graduate of North Carolina State University, her mission reminds us that the spirit of discovery and excellence is cultivated right in our own backyard.
We have the drive to lead America into the future — but we need leaders in Washington who will fight to keep that engine of opportunity running.
