Did you know my parents inspired me to become the person I am today, a member of Congress who fights for working families, here in Pennsylvania and across the country?

It was my dad's experience in the military that led me to want to serve, to join the military myself, to give back to my community in other ways, and to join the House Armed Services Committee. It was my mother's active fight for the Equal Rights Amendment and commitment to her local chapter of the League of Women Voters that led me to my work advocating for women's rights in Congress. 

Just like my parents, I believe there's work to be done. 

And as a longtime resident of Southeast Pennsylvania, I am dedicated to solving the real challenges we face – fighting for everything from greater opportunities for workers and increased savings for families to making high-quality health care more affordable and accessible.

I stepped up for this role to fight for Pennsylvanians during Donald Trump’s first term – and this work has never been more important, as he and his GOP allies in Congress continue to attack our communities, undo progress, and threaten our democracy. President Trump’s policies have made life more expensive, our communities less healthy, and our country less safe. 

I'm committed to continuing the fight to stop MAGA Republicans from threatening our most vulnerable and selling out the middle class, but I can't do it without you.
