The Postal Service has been critical to our daily life since America's founding. Its roots are so deep that Benjamin Franklin was the first postmaster general before we had even declared our independence.

Defunding the USPS would affect everyone. We rely on this service daily to deliver medicines, ship packages to rural communities, and provide Americans with an affordable way to send mail. And the front-line USPS workers who have put themselves at risk every day during this pandemic deserve our support. Yet, politicians are willing to destroy this essential service because they believe that doing so can strategically suppress voter turnout.
