Friend,

With the federal government abandoning its traditional role of helping students with financial aid to get to and through college, the upcoming budget cuts to Pell Grants and ParentPlus Loans for high school students and returning students for Fall 2026 will prevent many students from going to college. This reduction by the federal government is unprecedented—so it’s more important than ever that students graduating high school in the next few weeks have the resources they need as they prepare for college in the fall.

That’s where UNCF comes in.

UNCF has already helped more than 550,000 students earn their degrees, effectively doubling the number of students of color attending college. As public funding recedes, our mission becomes even more critical.

But we couldn’t do it without your help. We need your support to help students across the nation to prepare for college success, so please: will you make a donation to UNCF now and help us meet our $15,000 goal this graduation season before April 30? [[link removed]]

Making sure students feel confident and prepared before they even step onto a college campus is the first step to setting them up for success for the next four years and beyond. Your support funds vital tools like:

* The College Readiness Checklist [[link removed]] : guiding seniors through the complex transition to freshman year
* Application Mastery: free webinars and workshops on how to write winning scholarship essays
* Continuous Outreach: ensuring no student feels alone as they navigate the jump to an HBCU or another college or university

On every step of the journey to getting a college education, UNCF is here to help. We’re connecting students of all backgrounds with all the information they need to thrive. Whether through our scholarship programs or outreach, UNCF reminds students that they are not alone.

Will you make a donation now to help us continue to do just that while we fulfill our mission of ensuring that students have the support they need to succeed in college and beyond? [[link removed]]
